My relatives came from Ireland to North Carolina. I dont know what year. Do you have any relatives named Beverly (male, he has a son Jr.) Young or George Moody Young? George Moody Young was born in North Carolina But Parents could have just been there a short time before he was born. I cant go Forward until I find the parents of these men. My line is from Beverly Young and My husband is from Moody Young. Please respond. Maybe we can tie up some loose ends.

By some chance, have you come across a Robert Young, b.c. 1726 , who married Mary MacClellan c. 1742-3 in Antrim? I suspect that he was likely from Ballymena as it looks like his wife's father was Wm MacClellan of Bourness, who was b. at Ballymena c. 1685.

Robert Young and wife, Mary MacClellan had at least these children:
Jane Young, b.1743
John Young, b. 1745
Agnes Young, b.c 1748-9,( who marr. c.1762 in SC to Jacob Earnest Sr.)

I'm hoping that at least some of this looks familiar to you.
Regards,
Larry

Surnames: Young, Galphin
I have an ancestor, Isaac Young born in 1698 in County Antrim, Ireland. Any clues for his ancestry? We believe is father's name was also Isaac and mother Sussanah Galphin.
