I am looking for information on Patrick Carroll (ca 1821 - 1899), and his son Joseph (b. 1864). Patrick died in Philadelphia. His son Charles (my gGrandfather) lived in Lansdowne (Delaware Co., Pa.). Patrick's first wife was Mary (d. 1860) and his second was Kate. If you think we could have a link, please let me know.

Hello, Timothy,
I'm helping a friend work on his genealogy and I was wonder if their might be a connection to your people since you mentioned Delaware Co., PA. His grandmother was Anna T. Carroll Saunders b:19 Mar 1912 in DelCo., PA; d:17 Mar 1977 in DelCo. Her husband was William C. Saunders and they had a daughter named Anne who was born in Drexel Hill. Does any of this sound familiar?

Barb, I'm afraid not. The curse of a common name.

I noticed you were searching for info on an Anna Carroll from Pa. I am also searching for an Ann or Anna Carroll that was born in 1831 in Lisronagh in Powerstown Parish near Clonmel, Co. Tipperary to Patrick and Alice (Neville) Carroll who were farmers near Clonmel. They had 11 children between 1815 and 1835. They wereJohn, Mary, Patrick, Anthony(My gggrandfather) Philip, Denis ,Michael,Ann or Anna , Richard and James CArroll. Family storys tell of family living in Pa that would come to Wi. to visits during the summers. Five of the above settled in Wi. and I am searching for the other 5. Do you know the names of your Anns parents or where in Ireland they lived. Carol
