My ggggrandfather is Donald Mckay Jr. Born abt.1793 in Strathbeg, Scotland, immigrating to Shelburne in 1804. He is the son of Donald and Katherine McKay, his first wife. She died on the trip here and was buried at sea. Donald Jr. married Susannah Monroe and had eight children. I'm looking for info on their children. Their son William, born 1825 - 1882 is my gggrandfather but I have very little info on his brothers and sisters. Also looking for info on Susannah's parents.

I don't know if this is the right family line, but I'm looking for information on Murdoch McKay (1807-1881) who married Maria Ann Elizabeth Thompson. They had a daughter Deborah, who was my great great grandmother. I would like information on the McKay family history.
