Krizan relatives from Moravia

I am looking for relatives of my great grandfather Cyril Krizan, born 1/29/1892 in Moravia to John and Anna Krizan. He immigrated to the USA (Michigan) in 1911. On 9/10/1912, he married Mary Stasa in Michigan. She immigrated from Moravia in 1912. They left a child behind with grandparents. The child was named Mary (she was my grandmother). Her birthday was 8/30/1912. She came to the USA at the age of 10. Cyril had brothers by the name of Martin Krizan(who came to the USA), Anthony and Peter who stayed in Czechoslovakia and sisters Katherine Krizan Hudicek in Czechoslovakia and Phyllis Krizan Stasa who came to the USA. I am not sure how my grandmother Mary could have been born 11 days before her mother came to the USA and married Cyril. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Maybe a letter to the distant relatives could answer some of yours and theirs questions.

Thank you so much. I never would have been able to translate this document. Since I made my first posting, I have learned that Cyril Krizan was probably not my great grandfather (but my grandmother's step father). Marie (Mary) Stasova (Stasa), born in 1911 in Knezdub was my grandmother and she stayed there for 9 years after her mother (of the same name, Marie Stasa) immigrated to the USA in 1912 to marry Cyril who immigrated in 1911.My grandmother immigrated in 1920 and she may have been living in Knezdub with Antone and Frances (Bena) Stasa, her grandparents. An uncle by the name of Jiru Mrkya was listed on the ship record as to where she came from. His address was Knezdub, C. 101, Moravia. She traveled with a Jan Mrkva age 27. She was coming to Owosso, Michigan to be with Cyril and Marie Krizan and he was traveling to Owosso, Michigan to be with John and Katrina (Mrkva) Studenka.

The birth record for your grandmother isn´t online, it´s too recent. But you will find her mother, in the same book as Cyril.

Thank you. How soon before the year 1911 will be available?

Hard to say - 100 years after the last record in the book. The book should be still in Kněždub ou.knezdub@knezdub.cz, if not, it´s already in the archive soka_hodonin@mza.cz.

If you have documents to prove you´re a direct relative, you can get a copy of a record. I think there´s some small fee to pay, but I can´t tell for sure that someone at Kněždub or the archive will speak English.
