Surnames: ALSOBROOK, ALSBROOK, WYNN
In 1879 William Henry Alsobrook/Alsbrook m. Frances Josephine Wynn in Richland Parish. Does anyone know if they stayed on there for the 1880 Census?

I'm trying to connect him to the Alsobrooks over in Carroll Parish in 1860 and 1870.

I think this might be your William Henry Alsobrook; he is buried in the Wynn Cemetery in Start, LA. You might have this info already, but my grandfather, John Albert Ethridge, is also buried there, and I know several of the people there are related. S. W. Lucas, for instance, was my grandfather's stepfather. I'm wondering if the Alsobrook family was related to the Halleys, Ethridges, Thurmans, Wynns, and Montgomerys and others buried in that cemetery. Any info on any of them?

Yes, my Halley's are kind to the Alsobrooks that you mention in the Start, La. (Richland Parrish) area. Although I thought they spelled it Alsbrooks. Guess I better check up on my own family names. My dad, J.T. Halley is first cousin to Charles Alsobrooks (deceased) but am not sure where he is buried. Believe his father's name was Will Alsobrooks (he used to ride his horse to the USPO each day to get his mail).
There were also some Kennedy's in the community who were kind to the Halley's and Alsobrooks. rodney halley rhhr62@gmail.com

Mrs Halley, Mrs Kennedy, and Mrs. Will Alsbrooks were sisters. That is the connection to the Alsbrooks. Their children were first cousins.

Most of the people buried in this cemetary are connected in some way. They were either Wynn's, married Wynn's or some inlaw/ outlaw connections. Most all these people lived on what is called Wynn Island.
