The Hodge family of Hadlow, Kent mid 1700s to early 1800s

I am a descendant of a Sarah Hodge b. ca. 1776 (Kent) m. (1) 25 Oct. 1793 in Westerham to Abraham Coomber, and (2) 24 July 1804 in Tanbridge, Surrey to Marcellus Howard. Sarah's grandson John Howard made a visit to people in Kent in 1867 which is recorded in his daybook for the year.. One of his visits was to a Jane Gibson while visiting in Gravesend (at a Mr. Hill's). I tried to discover who this Jane Gibson was, as well as other names (a May family in Newcross? - Gibson in Chatham).. He had an address for a Mr. C Gibson, Woods Cottage Cage Lane Chatham Kent - Also a Samuel Hill No. 4 Clifton Grove Gravesend Kent. I noticed in the 1841 census of Hadlow that a William Hodge age 80 was living with John Crump, and Jane Gibson was also there. (note: There was also a Jane Gibson in the Gravesend area). I was wondering if my Sarah Hodge might be connected to this Hodge family of Hadlow?

I discovered that the Charles Gibson connection is through the Howard family. Mary Ann Howard daughter of Marcellus Howard and Sarah Hodge m. Charles Gibson. Their family is the one in Chatham, Kent that John visited. Charles Marcellus Gibson and his wife Clara son of Charles and Mary Ann. And Jon also visited Samuel Hill and his wife Jane Adelaide Gibson daughter of Charles and Mary Ann.

Still wonder about the Hadlow connection. However, the Gibsons in the daybook seem to be Howard, not Hodge connections.
