I am researching the family of Emanuel Waselkow (v) from the village of Ternovka, located on the Don River east of the city of Saratov. His son Maxim was my ggrandfather. Maxim dau. (Anna) b. Ternovka 1892 m. Ivan Stephanovich Charkovski c. 1908. They emigrated to U.S. 1911. Any help greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if you had found out any more information.
I see Iwan Charkowsky was on the same manifest as my
Iwan Kotenko headed for the same destination.

They also came from the same village.
I am looking for information on the Village.

I don't think that is right, that's in the Ukraine and is spelled with the w character, which would have been transcribed as "Ternoshka" by the writer of the ship manifest, right?

Also, for the Kotenko case, the ship manifest clearly has Samara written next to Ternofka (likely a mis-hearing of the Russian Ternovka). It's likely that the Ternovka near Saratov is the correct one, since it's still very close to Samara. You can find it on this map in between 51 and 52, just Southeast of Saratov:
