Does anyone have a information on Jan Bouwman who emigrated to West Michigan in 1880 from the Netherlands.
He was my great grandfather. He brought with him his wife,
Anna, son, Henry (or Hindrik) son, Derk(baby) and his father-
in-law, Derk Poort. He was a shoemaker. I have been unable
to find what port he came into and what ship, what port he
sailed out of Holland. He settled in Muskegon, Mi. and lived out his life at this place. Any information would be appreciated.
