Jan Johan Ripping/Repping born on 27/10/1827 lived in Sittard (Limburg-NL) with his wife, Maria Catharina Gertrudis Kaiser, born 16/05/1826 Hinsbeck-Germany. I am looking for people with surname Ripping/Repping or anyone who can tell me more about this familyname. Probably this family orginates from Germany (Kapellen?).

My family name is Repping. My family moved to Australia in 1961 after living in South Africa. I think my family moved from Holland in about 1950. My father's name was Peter Repping. Would love to trace our family history.

Yes these are my parents. My father was born in Venlo, Limburg, The Netherlands on 24/12/1917. I will have to find out what his parents were called. My father was deceased in 2006.

Hope this helps a bit.
Margaret

I have quite a bit of family history that my cousin Herman Repping researched. I will endeavour to scan it into my computer and email it to you on the weekend. How did you find out that my parents came by plane on 10th May 1961. I was with them.

Regards
Marg

Place of birth: Sittard
Bride Anna Maria Magdalina van den Akker
