My mom's maidan name is Basham. her father was Harry Bassham. The Problem is he dropped a S in his last name. His parents were Sylvesta Stonewall Bassham and Flora T. Thomasson(maidan name). Does anyone know anything else about the last name of Bassham?

I was told growing up that we were descendants(sp?) of the Jesse James/Bass clan. Don't know if that is true.

I found on the net that a Bassham road with the
James Gang in robbing a train. He later was used
in pointing out the gangs role in in the train robbery.
