I really don't know much. Only what I said. They were my mother in laws parents and she really knew nothing. Her mother died at 40 and her father left her with an assortment of relatives until she was in high school. She was a very remote person and never wrote down a thing. I suppose John Dewitt had no relatives to speak of as she did'nt mention any. He died when my husband was young and he is 70 now so doesen't really know much. He always said they were related ot Quannah Parker and the Dalton Brothers. She was Ruby Marcillite Braddy....Braddy Dalton? Could be I suppose. She was 1/2 Indian. She said Commanche but I think Cherokee as they came from NC. Her grandparents I mean. I think her father was named Frank. I don't know why I think that. I saw it once on something. Any info would be helpful.

Marge I guess he was the Braddy. The mother was Olivia Godley and I think they were the ones from NC. You can see I am not very informed.
