Hello,
my Brandriff line is from Milleville NJ and is probably connected. I am descended from Ephriam B. Brandriff born October 13, 1821 son of Daniel and Mary Hanthorn Brandriff. I have some info on my line back to the original founder Timothy Brandreth in 1680 from England. If you give me some more names if you know any and at least a starting date for your Clarence I might be able to find out where you fit in the picture.

Hi Aunt Grace,

I'm working some of this out too- and was pleasantly surprised to see you posted. I'm sure you're a good deal further along than I am, but I'd be interested in how far you've gotten. I'm currently searching for the family book writen by Charles P.

How are you?

Good to hear from you. Nice surprise.
Mike can and read over my shoulder.
About Brandriff ancestry:
A woman named Martha Brandriff called and came to visit. Turns out I knew her sister in 1948 and her niece was in the same hiking club in the 1980's.
got some info there.
Then, the porting brought me a college student inquiry:She's decended from Iowa's Ephraim Brandriff and Harriet Long. Now lives in NY state near Canadian border. I mailed her all I had.

Are you using a FAmily Tree computer progam.Version # is important. Mine is version #6. If yours is newer my info will fit right is....Family Tree is backward compatible. I can't use data from a newer program tho.

Let me know. You do know that SHERRILL in N. Carolina is Gramps maternal family, don't you?

Love ya'

Aunt Grace

Hi Audrie, seems likely our Brandriff families may be connected, as they lived close to one another in Millville. I haven't found the connection yet, so any help would be appreciated. I have Family Tree software. My line is from my Dad's grandmother, Elizabeth Ella Brandriff, b. c1878, m. Charles Herbert VanHook. Her parents were Alfred C. Brandriff Sr., b. c1846 and Charlotte Price, d. 1902. Alfred's parents were John D. Brandriff, b. Aug 1822, m. 1st Catherine, m. 2nd Adeline. I believe all were from Millville. Thanks! Carl

Hi April
We are directly related.
Your Grandfather Clarence (Uncle Bud to me) was my father's brother. My dad = Charles Brandriff. Their older sister was Viola m Satterfield. lived in North Carolina
Their father Clarence George born in Millville NJ m. (as a 2nd wife) Sarah Elizabeth Sherrill.
I met your grandfather in 1941 and again in 1958.
My e-mail is gedubiel@aol.com and I have a lot of info, much of which I supplied to your uncle Barron years ago.
I can go back through our lineage to 1680. And will gladly share what I know with you.
