The earliest Bready I have found in Bucks County PA was a John Bready who d/1735 and is buried in the Neshaiminy Presbyterian Churchyard of Warwick. Other Bready's buried there are Robert d/1799 buried among his children, Thomas, James and Robert all dying in the early 1800's. There are more names. If anyone connects please write. I am descendant of Robert's son William. He moved on the Ross County OH around 1799-1800. He had six children; Robert, Margaret, James, Elizabeth, Anne and Benjamin all born in Bucks County, PA. I have been trying to find the wife of William. And any other information I can gather on the family. Thanks

Hi,
I have often wondered if the Bready's of the south and the Bready's of PA were related. Our Bready's came from Ireland, (we think) but of course so many people in Ireland were of Scottish decent. Our Bready's came to America sometime in the early 1700s. Starting with a John Bready, d/1735, buried in the Neshaminy Presbyterian Churchyard, Warwich, PA. There followed Robert, I don't know his siblings. But he had sons Thomas, James, Robert, and William. I am a direct line down from William. about 1800 William migrated to Ross Co. OH.

I am looking for information on Archibald Bready to confirm that he had a son, George, from whom I am descended. Would it be possible for you to email a copy of his will and any other documentation you have on him?

Thanks,
Nancy
