I live in Michigan and my father was Ronald Dashkovitz. I was born in Saginaw in 1952. I have now lived in Ionia, Michigan for 18 years. My father's parents were August & Anna Dashkovitz and they were both born in Germany and came to the US as children. I believe grandpa died when in about 1959 or sooner, I was very young. I have not seen most of my cousins in years and would not know them if I did meet them. My father was the 11th child born to August & Anna, he had brothers, Dick, Al, Fred, Bob, Sisters, Ileen, Pauline, Helen, Margaret, there were more but can not remember them all. Hope this helps in your search...........Linda

Lois, I believe was the daughter of William Dashkovitz, he was the son of August & Anna Dashkovitz, who came to the US from Germany when they were children and married in the US.They had 11 children and many, many grandchildren. I am one. I vaguely remember Lois as a little girl, several years younger than myself..........Linda

This is really neat. I also had an Aunt Margaret who must have gotten married before the census was done as she was older than Elizabeth, and Robert and Richard were twins so they have them as one 4 and one 5 and they were both the same age, either 4 or 5.

Did you get any information about Anna and August when they came to the US from Germany?

Hi Linda,
I'm sorry but that was about all the information I found. The other item of note was that Robert was Killed in Action in Korea on August 2, 1950. I am not related to this family but was doing a little search for someone else. I was surprised to find your recent post. If I continue searching and find anything that might be of interest to you, I'll post it. Mary
