I am attempting to link together the three distinct Dillow branches of Bland Co., VA. I believe all spring from Abraham Dillow b. ca 1745 Wythe Co., VA. and who married Elizabeth Steele. Anybody with info that can help?

My family comes from Robert Dillow,B.1776. M. Elizabeth Cassidy in Wythe Co. Va.they had 8 children, one of their son they named Abraham, we have found looking back they always name their children after family members,if he is one of your three please let me know,we can't find out who his parents were.

This is to anyone reseaching the Dillow Family History.
My Aunt Hannah Dillow Mazon (WV) has really done more
on this than myself. I am more than willing to share what she
has found through birth records, court house records, and census recordings.
She has taken the Dillow Family Tree back thus far to Wythe Co, Virginia to a Robert
Dillow (Born: 1796) marrying one Elizabeth Cassidy (Born 1817). I remember my father
saying we were of Irish and German descent. From Robert we moved on to Kentucky area (Greenup, Carter, Boyd).
A Stephen Dillow (1851) married one Hannah Caroline Meadows who gave birth to my grandfather Abraham Dillow.
Abraham Dillow married one Hester Ann Perkins. They gave birth to my own father, Steve Dillow (1906). My father passed away in
1976. I have started this research for a Grandmother album for my grandson.
I will gladly share what I have. Can anyone help me fill in the blanks before Robert Dillow (1796). I can be reached by e-mail
Browning@marshall.edu Thank You,

Frances Dillow Greene Browning

This is very difficult for me because I have limited information and each piece that I thought was a sure thing is looking more like it doesnt fit. I am looking for information on my fathers family. His name is Truman Jefferson Dillow. Born Sept 22, 1907. I am almost certain in Illinos but not 100% sure. I believe there were 3 sons born to my grandparents. But I am not certain even what my grandparents names were. I think Efraim and Rua but cant be sure. I think one of the sons might have been named Lynn. I am sorry for such a vague post but it is all I have to work with. If you have any information please get in touch. Thank you so very much.

Alma Dillow Kozack:

Hi Cousin, thanks so much for your packet
of info. I only have a few things to add.
Item 4 - In the listing of my family (Steve
Dillow and children. My name is Frances not Francie.
Also, the info for Sandy Arlene Dillow listed
under your Notes is not accurate. Mom and Dad
already had Sandy before my brother Joe's death.
(Note: Joe died in Nov 55 - Sandy was born in April
same year - Mom and Dad got her very shortly after
her birth).Eloise would never agree to sign adoption
papers for her. She just couldn't do that.
But when she died in 1966 - Bill (Sandy's birth
father) agreed to do so. Sandy was not adopted
by Dad and Mom until she was eleven years old
and her birth mother (Eloise) had passed away.
(1966). You may want to correct this on your
paperwork. Please keep in touch. Your Cousin,
Fran
