Hi. I am the great granddaughter of Petro Dusina. He originally came from Italy. I do not know when or how old he was. I do not know what part of the U.S. he came to. I do not know if he used another name before coming to the U.S. or if this was his original name. I also do not know if he traveled alone or with family. If anyone can please help me I would greatly appreciate it. If you do not know anything about him, can anyone tell me how to find out the missing information. My grandmother, his daughter, died when I was young and unfortunately I have no more info. about him except that he was born at or about June 7, 1880 and died at or about Aug. 27, 1947 (I got this info. from his tombstone). He married Myrtle Miniard (her dob, dod are unknown to me). She was from Perry County, Ky, her mothr was Rutha Jane Maggard, her father was Joseph Miniard. I don't know when she married Petro, but she remarried after his death in 1947. She then remarried in 1953 to Price Spicer age 72. His mothr was Elizabeth Gross and his father was Ervine Spicer. My grandmother was the only child they had. Her name was Mary Magdelene Dusina(dobJan. 16, 1925 dod June 9, 1992) md Walter Kash Trent(dobOct.8, 1917 dod June 10, 1985). They were married on June 3 1941. I am sorry to have gotten carried away, I am very excited about maybe finding some help. This is a dead end for me. Any info. will be greatly appreciated. God Bless, Victoria.

good morning,
my name is Tracey. My grandfather is "was" Tom Pete Dusina, and his father came from Genova and married I believe a girl from Tenn. Anyways, my grandmother's maiden name is Cupp and she is from Tenn also, her name is "was" Elizabeth "Doll" Cupp. Then they married and went to Floyd County, Kentucky, which all seems fairly close to what u are looking for. Our family has a resturant here after my mother's maiden name "Dusina". My granddad Tom Pete Dusina died 26 yrs ago, and just lost a sister 1 yr ago, and still has 1 or 2 living sisters. My grandmother Elizabeth "doll" cupp dusina died 3 yrs ago this yr. I would love to hear back from youto see if we are related. I want to go to Genova to see how many dusina's and descendes of our family are left.....Great news, Our family ended up being God fearing Penecostal People !!!!!!!
