Looking for information on the families of Alfred and Bertha (Weber) Fahrni and his brother John and Elsi (Weber) Fahrney who lived in Green County, Wisconsin beginning slightly prior to 1910. Alfred and Bertha are buried in a cemetary outside Belleville. I think John and Elsi may be buried at Monticello or possibly Monroe. The ladies are sisters and the men are brothers. All came from Switzerland.

Not quite sure if you'll still recieve this since you posted the message over a year ago. A person that is in question, is a grandparent of mine. If you would email and let me know what type of information you are looking for and for what reason, I might be able to assist you.

My father was Ralph Fahrney from Canal Fulton, OH. His father was Fred Fahrney from Switzerland. Dad had done much genealogy on the family, however a lot has been lost. Grandfather was from Swartzeneg in the canton of Bern. When grandfather came to US he Americanized name from Fahrni to Fahrney. Must be a connection.
