Are you sure of the spelling of FARKO do you know if it may have been changed? Our grandparents were FARKOUH and we sound our name out like how yours is spelled.... We had a family member who moved to CANADA from NEW YORK. The family originated in Syria/Egypt. Let me know. Thanks

Well acording to relitives, my grandfather was born in Russia. I am guessing he was born in the bessarabia area as he could speak several languages and russian and german. The german was the most dominante one.
