Tim,
It has been a long time. You are related to every single Fraysher on the internet in some way. I recently found some digitized books on Google that cited the Fraysher family in France. Funny, I always thought they came from Alsace Lorraine, France, but that it not true. The Frasher family is noted in French history as coming from Ariege France (southern France) and specifically from Foix (most notably the Chateau de Foix) and that goes back to the 13th century. Chateau de Foix was a castle in France. No, we weren't royalty, but the Chateau withstood many assaults from the English during those time and was never captured. Ariege is a 'state' (department) in southern France which is the the foothills to the Pyranees mountains. If you've seen the cave paintings shown for ancient man, the Pyranees is where those caves are located. I haven't been able to go back further than that. You're also realted the families names Rains, Cole, Heath, McBride, Harrington, Briggs, Slayton. There are many many more. Write to some of the people and have them fill you in on things. Most of them are pretty helpful. Hope like is keeping you happy these days. Take care.
You have cousins in Texas with the last names of Fraysher, Harp, Bunch. We're all over the place.
