Have recently discovered my great-grandmother's name is Anna Lucabaugh (spelling?). She married William Loringer sometime in the late 1870's, possibly in Baltimore, Maryland. She had a son, Charles, who was my grandfather. He married a woman named Lola aka Cora and had six children. I am looking for any link or knowledge. Can you help?

Adam Lucabaugh married Elizabeth Hoffacker in 1848. They had several children - one was Annie who married Bill Lorringer. Children of Annie and Bill:
Chaplin -lived in York
John - lived in Baltimore
George - married Bertha Simpers - 1 son
Flora - lived in Baltimore - 2 sons
Ella married Howard Menche - lived in York
Mandellia married Conrad Warehime - lived in Hanover

This info was given to me by a relative about 40 years ago. I do not have dates, but I do know that Adam and Elizabeth Lucabaugh attended St. Peter's Church in northern Baltimore County. This person did not give me the name of Charles (could John be John Charles?)

Hope this assists you in your search.

Hi, thanks for the message. Recent events have kept me from persuing genealogy for a while. I just got around to checking the message boards. We are in the right family. My mother always mentioned an Uncle Chap and Aunts Flora and Ethel. I have a copy of Charles Edward Loringer's Baptismal Certificate from St. John Church in VA. Also a letter from a priest in 1941 to Charles which mentions siblings baptized there as Flora, William, Joseph, and John G. Would love to correspond with you and find out more information about the family. Also could fill in the 21st century, if you are interested. Thanks again for responding.
