It was relay to me that Amadeo Mireles, Abelardo's brother was the driver for Al Capone. Death records show that Amadeo died in Cook County (Chicago) Illinois in 1978. He was born 1904, could be a possibility.

Pedro Mireles was my grandfather, born in Abasolo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, he was a blacksmith in Seguin, TX. My grandmother's name was Genoveva and she was born in either Eagle Pass or Del Rio. According to my father, my grandfather was known as the best blacksmith for miles around. Any one have more info?

Looking for ancestors. My grandfather Alfonso Mireles was born in 1910 in Nueves Zacatecas. His father's name was Paublo Mireles who married a Mauricia De la Rosa. I don't know where they were from. I think my mom told me that her grandfather was born in Spain. They lived in texas and then in New Mexico. He died in Arizona of Black Lung. He worked in the mines. My mother said he spoke perfect English and was highly educated. He supposedly had a brother (Crispin?)who went to live in Mexico when they closed the borders way back when. My grandfather had a falling out with his family because he married a woman with children and not of his race. I remember my mother mentioned probably Nuevo Leon. My grandmother was indian. There are a lot of Mireles' listed in the Florida Unclaimed property list. This sort of tells me that maybe at some point they had come from Spain to Cuba to Florida to Texas to New Mexico and to Arizona. Anyone have information regarding our family please e-mail me at amen879720@aol.com All his children live in Arizona. Alfonso Jr., Arturo, Francisco, Carolina, Virginia, Mercedes, Carlota, Emilia, Dora Ana, and Josefina.

My grandfather Alfonso was born in Nueves Zacatecas. I don't know any of his relatives at all. I think he had a brother named Crispin. His father's name was Paublo B. Mireles and his mother was Mauricia de la Rosa Mireles. I never heard of Nueves or maybe Nueva Zacatecas.

Classification: Query
Surnames: Rodarte, Ortiz, Tejada, Robles
The Rodarte family obiously comes from Zacatecas, Mexico. I am here in the north in Michigan and would like to find out more about my father's side. I know I have relatives in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico. My Grandfather was José Casimiro, had a brother name Franciso Rodarte who is around 93 years of age and living in Gomez Palacio. Their father was Nicolas Rodarte who was married twice. His first wife I believe was Guadalupe Robles and for sure his second wife was Rita Ortiz. I also believe Nicolas' father was Paz Rodarte who was married to Maria Estanislao Tejada. Any connections?
