Hi, I am looking for relatives. My great-great grandfather's name was August Radke, born in Russia. His father's name was John and my great-grandfather's name was also August Radke. Both August's emigrated to New England (resided Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts). Interested in hearing from any relatives out there and sharing family tree information.

I am trying to find where an Aunt, Ruth B. Radke, who was married to my Uncle Robert F. Packard is. She was in the navy as was Uncle Bob when they met. Uncle Bob died in 1969 in Milwaukee where Aunt Ruth was from and I don't know where she is. I think probably still in Milwaukee area.

My Great, Great, Great Grandfather was also August Radke. Him and his wife Elisabeth immigrated to the USA in 1879 from Prussia. They moved to Crapps Creek township, Barry county, Missouri. My great great Grandmother was Anna Mary Radke who married Bartholomew Stodden. I know that Elisabeth had 11 children but in 1900 only 6 were living.

Do you know if there is a connection between the two August Radke's? I recently searched the German to America records and located the ship my August and Elisabeth came to America on. But also located in the same volume was another August Radke who arrived in New York from Hamburg and Havre and the ship named "Gellert" on June 1879. It says that he was 29. A Farmer from Prussia. My August was 35 when he arrived in 1879 in Baltimore. He also had a son named August who was 4 when they arrived. You can email me at gmboger@ite.net Michelle

By any chance do you know if your Aunt had a brother or relative by the name of Joseph E. Radke. My father is looking for someone related to Joseph (who is his father). We know he lived in the Cameron area and possibly (not completely sure) married Elsie Grace Beardsly Stewart. Any information would be helpful.
