does anyone have any information on Spoffords in Massachusetts?

I was looking thru some bibles this afternoon and found some information about a John Spofford marrying Elizabeth Scott in 1638 in Rowley, MA. Does this fit in with any information that the rest of you may have?

Looking for decendents of John Calvin Spofford, architect who desugned the Roxbury Presbyterian Church in 1891. Honoring his memory at up-coming celebration; Born in Maine, he died in Brookline, Mass.in 1936

My grandfather was: Percy Alfred Spofford DOB 10/04/1901, Worcester Ma. Died 05/05/1938 He was married to Madeline Susan Brown in Munson, Hampton,MA. Percy's parents were: Emerson Samuel Spofford and Lillian Alena Brown. Percy's grandparents were: Oliver M. Spofford and Sarah Morse. Kay, do you have any information on Berniah (sp?) Spofford who married Polly Pace (Page?) or their son Jason (3/15/1822)? How do I get a copy of the book?

I am trying to find out information about R.F. Spofford approx. date of birth 1914, He served in the army and was a cpl. stationed at Camp Gordon Johnston in Florida. He was married for a short while to a woman named Clara Evelyn Hollingsworth, they were married in Raton N.M. She had a daughter, she was only 13 at the time and the marriage was anulled. I am her other daughter, she had a son also but, he died in a motorcycle crash in Phoenix, Arizona. and am wondering if there is another daughter out there.If you have any information please let me know, my mother does not know of this search, but she is 76 now and I would like to find my sister, she would be 60's. From what she has told me the baby was taken from the County Hospital in Los Angeles and taken back east by the grandmother who would have been Richards Spoffords mother. Thank You
