This is an Update. We have found the marriage record for a V.T. Kinard and Thomas Williams. 12/1/1875 If this is the right one what is the name really Williams or Williamson.

All of their Children are Williamson

I GUESS YOU MAY SAY I AM ONE OF THE GRANDAUGHTERS OF THOMAS
WILLIAMSON THERE IS A LOT OF THEM THAT SETTLED IN VIRGINIA HE WAS BORN 1717 DIED 1756 NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE ONE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR BUT MAYBE THIS WILL HELP SOME.

Hi Pansy...

We have always thought our ancestor was John Williams of the Flatlands in WVA...But since having a DNA it shows we are not Williams at all....Can you tell me who some of your kineage might be ? Was the name changed to Williams.?

no it's williamson ,maybe it was william's at one time in middlesex england,where they come from as far as i can tell,it's so confusing because there is so many of them.
