Looking for information on John Howard b. abt. 1806 in SC. Came through GA, Miss and was in Claiborn Parish in 1860. Married to Nancy ?. Their children were: Pleasant b. 1833, Lucinda b. 1836, Mary b. 1844, Richard b. 1845 Emily b. 1847, James b. 1849, Hardy, Gracey, John, Barnett and Francis. Looking to share information with other researchers of this family.

I descend through John's brother Michael Howard, who stayed in GA.

John Howard and Nancy Campbell were my gggrandparents.

I have been looking for my ggggrandfather for several years. His name was William Hardy "Jim" Howard and was born in Alabama in 1827. He was married to Nancy Gulley and they moved to Union Parish in Louisiana . I beleive he had a brother named John. This was in North Louisiana. my mother was a Howard . I have a lot of information on my family and am hoping there is a connection.
