Yea! Finally a reply. Yes, this is the person I have been researching. Dwight Russell Gardin was also my husband's grandfather through his mother Jane Helen Gardin. I am married to Jim Altman. Is your husband a son of Jack or Tom?

My husband, Russel, was named after him. He is one of Tom's sons. We live in Houston. Did we meet at the family reunion about 12 years ago at the Cusacks?

Jim knows of Russel, but has not seen him for a long, long time. Jim is friends with Aunt Maxine of Facebook which I believe is Russell's mom???(lives in Tennessee - maybe Crossville?).
Jim was not at the reunion. We were married in Feb 2001.
Been researching Dwight since we got married.
