Hi,
I'm also tracing my Stewart of Appin clan. Charles Stewart of Achara (1840-1916) was my great grandfather. His father Duncan John Stewart married Harriet Gore at the British Embassy Chapel in Paris, France. This is as far as I can get. Please can you help me with more information.
Thank you.
Mark

Hi,

Through Family Tree DNA it appears I may be most connected to the Appin Clan also. I have three ancestors in Armagh No. Ireland in the 1800's, but cannot follow any paperwork to Scotland. My oldest is Hugh (c.1800), his son William and his David Allan Stewart (1872-1916). David left for the US in 1890's. I have more info and would enjoy collaborating. mtstew@me.com

I'm now in San Diego, CA

Cheers,
Mike
