Joseph McKay was an artist designing stained glass windows maybe for L.A. Art Glass in Los Angeles around 1907. Any information would be helpful.

From the Manitoba Free Press, Winnipeg (Canada), Tuesday, March 3, 1914, page 15, under DEATHS.

"McKAY - In Los Angeles, California, on February 11, 1914, Joseph McKay, beloved husband of Anne T. Mckay and father of Isabella J. McKay, formerly of Dundee, Manitoba, aged 74 years.

Interment at Inglewood Park cemetery."

All I know is a man named Joseph Mckay, was either the artist or actually made the stained glass windows in our 94 year old church. He had to be living in Los Angeles about 1909. I live in Los Angeles and I know the Inglewood cemetery . Anything you come across might help me find out a little about him. I will check the CA death records .

I believe that it is spelled Joseph Evan MacKay. 1864-1938. He worked for Tiffany Studios and for John La Farge. I have more inof if you're still interested.
