Surnames: Reyes, delos Reyes, de los Reyes, Tamayo, Juat
My paternal grandfather Bonifacio Reyes' family are from Dinalupihan, Bataan. They might have gone by 'De los Reyes' up until WWII - according to the family stories - they were sought out and killed by guerillas and/or the Japanese. He married my grandmother, Honorata 'Mamang/Nene' Tamayo Juat (b.1919 d.1994), lived in Caloocan City (he eventually re-married and his wife and children lived in Novaliches in the 90's); her mother was Marcela Tamayo (d.1973). My grandmother Nene was certain her grandfather Juat/ancestors were Chinese. If any of these names sound familiar to you, kindly drop me a line. =)
