Dear George,

My research on the TIBBETTS FAMILY is centered on 1816 and after in those states I mentioned. In my research I have not come across Isaiah 1800/ William 1824, or George Claremont. If I do however come across any of these names I will forward any information I may uncover. Good luck in your research and MERRY CHRISTMES HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I have many Tibbitts in that area of New England. In fact i can trace back to Dover Neck N.H. to a Henry Tibbetts born in Londen England in 1596 and was given a land grant of Dover Nech by King George. Henry migrated to the Farmington N.H. area, and was killed there by the indians in 1676. His line goes, as i know it,son Jeremaiah b. 1631 in London, a son Ephraim b. abt. 1668 Dover Neck, a son,Araon b. 2/26/1704, in Dover Straford Co. N.H., a son, Stephen, b.abt. 1727, Dover, d. 1816 in Buxton,York co. Maine, a son Jedediah, b. 1756, n. Berwick Me., d. 1823 Rochester N.H., a son Charles w. b. 1790 in Berwick, Me. b.12/24/1875, in Farmington N.H., Timothy J. b. 1839 in Me., d. 1/02/1882, in Farmington N.H., who had a daughter, Luella Belle, b. 7/10/1863, d. 7/17/1926, in Farmington N.H., who was my ggrandmother on my father's side. I hope you can tie it in, as hopefully we wil have information to share. Ron Regis

I also forgot, if you live near Dover, Stratford Co. N.H., go to the libaray there, and look for an OLD book of the county. in the early days, it mentions many of the namess you do. I was in there, in Farmington last July, and found a wealth of infomation. Ron

Thanks for your help.

Kennith, I have a brother who lives in Berwick Me. I'll get in touch w/him when I get my mic/sound card working again, and I can call him on Buddy Phone. He works odd days and hours, so he might do it. I'm in Tennessee, so it's kind of hard for me.
