Surnames: Latham
I would like to find more information about a Latham Family in this area late 1700s to mid 1800s. We have no idea when or why they moved to the area or where in England they came from.At least 6 children born in CO Cork from 1807 to 1823. One of their sons James was born Dunmanway about 1812.He married a Catherine Rochford-dont know were about 1837/8 and their first child Margaret was baptised in Schull in 1839. He was a school master.-I have information on his line and some on his brothers and sisters after 1840s but would like to learn more, esp about the earlier years. If you can help please get in touch.

Bruce Latham, brother David and their family lived in Reading MA at least in the late 1950's. They both graduated from Reading Memorial High School in Reading Ma in 1959. I think it was Bruce that became a MA State Trooper, but later had to leave because of health issues, and he died in 1989-90. I believe his parents and brother are also deceased.
The family was quite well known at that time in Reading.
Just for anyone's inf if it fits. They'd be about 72ish today if living, and I think I remember one of them teling us(classmates)that his family(grandparents)came from Ireland.
