Mrs. Fannie Tapp, 67, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday at her home in Poole, following several
weeks' illness.
Survivors are the husband, Wiley Tapp; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Pittimier,
Louisville; Mrs. Jack Bridwell, Dixon, and Mrs. Maxwell Heck, Poole; two stepsons,
Wiley and Boone Tapp, Henderson; and three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Tapp, Poole, Mrs.
Colista Bumpus and Mrs. Maud Taylor, Henderson.
Funeral services were to be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the General
Baptist church in Poole, with the Rev. E.G. Sisk of Madisonville in charge.
Burial was to be in the Shady Grove cemetery, Poole.

Malissa Frances Thornberry (1876-1943) married Wiley Doke Tapp, Jr. (1873-1952). She was the daughter of George Washington Thornberry (1841-1915) and Rebecca M. Crews (1846-1935)and the grandaughter of Russell Knight Thornberry (1809-1900) and Emeline Poole (1809-1877. Wiley Doke Tapp, Jr. was the son of Wiley Doke Tapp, Sr. (1835-1877) and Nancy Jane Crews (1837-1926) and the grandson of Vincent Tapp (1783-1846) and Rosanna " Annie" Hopson (1796-1856).
