How would I be able to find where a person lived from 1915 to 1940? Would electoral rolls be the answer and, if so, where would I find them? I know the person lived in the same town during this period.

I think you will have more success by posting as many details as possible on the appropriate Welsh county board.

British electoral rolls for this period are available on Ancestry. Under the search tab, the second option is 'Census & Electoral Rolls'. That is how it shows up for me anyway. I have not figured out how to search electoral rolls only.

Prior to the 1918 roll only about a third of the British population had the vote, so far as I recall, though you do find a fair number of working class people on it, it is a bit hit and miss. These records do show addresses.

Update on what is available on this site.

UK rolls are available 1538-1895.

London area 1832-1965.

Midland area 1832-1955.

Fife area 1832-1894.

Dorset area 1839-1922

So the Wales area after 1895 is not available.
