Hello, my name is Brian Kruszewski. My great grandmother was Josephine Fialkowski From Erie Pa. I have a lot of information on the Family of Fialkowski’s. She had brothers and sisters. Anna was the oldest then Josephine,Helen, Stanislaus, Mary, and Sophia. They were from the town of OSTASZEWO near Turon. I know their parents were Josefa and Konstanty Fialkowski and that the name was changed from Malachowski in the mid 1800’s because of the Draft. I don’t know the names of josefa or konstanty’s brothers or sisters but I do know that josefa’s brother owned a grocery store in Poland Josefa may have had more children. Hope there is a connection here. I know “we think” there is a connection to the fialkowski’s in Buffalo NY, but I have not been able to find how. Let me know if this is any help. Josephine and here brother and sisters were all born between 1865 and 1884. so I imagine their parents were born in the late to mid 40’s I can trace josefa’s parents anna and marclin galczynski to the 1830’s. email me back and let me know what you think.
