Hi,

I am looking for info and hopefully contact with some long lost cousins. I am in search of info on Peter Kaczorowski (b.1850) from Skempa (sp?) Poland? Married Katarzina Baliki around 1880 in Poland. Emmigrated in 1887 to America. Residence in Buffalo, NY.

Peter's children were Leon, John (Jan), Frank, Theodore (Teddy), Mary, Bronislaw, Stanley (Stanislaw), Cecille and Rose. All lived in Buffalo, some moved to Pittsburgh.

Any info and contact appreciated, happy to swap information.

I don't really know where Skempa is in Poland, but judging from Census data (Ger/Poland), it was in Western Poland. This could be Skepe?

I don't know if Peter had any siblings. I have NO other information, though I will be going back to my mother's home this Christmas and will hopefully turn up more infor from old documents.

Peter's son Stanley moved to Pittsburgh, PA where he married Harriet Malankiewicz around 1921. She was from Stzryzow in southeastern Poland (Galicia/Poland).

It could be Skepa. Many of the town translations into English seem to add more letters because of the Polish pronunciation. I'm wondering if Skempa is near Lipno. Hmmmm. Yes, please do stay in touch.

Skempa is near Lipno...so must be present day Skepe.

I dont know if this is the same stanley kaczorowski, but he was my dads uncle and lived in conneaut ohio for sometime, his brother was john kaczorowski. This could be a different person if he never lived in conneaut ohio..

Looking at this 4 years later, our Kaczorowskis are from the same area of Poland.
All of my documentation mentions Lipno, Lipna, Plock, Plocka. Skępe is not far away!

AND...I forgot to mention the name of the town -- Brzezno. It looks like it is about 8-10 miles west.
