My grandmother Hannah had a twin brother Michael. Hannah married Edward Ryan in St. Mary's Star of the Sea in Bayonne, New Jersey. about 1895. They had sixteen children and traveled all over the United States with their children and grandchildren.
He was a wildcatter for Standard Oil. Anything sound familiar. I have little info on Hannah. I know I had a second or third cousin Tony Toby that must have been related he would be in his sixties and there was a Vinnie Mcgeehan who passed away but his parents had died when he was a child. My Dad Jim Ryan was next to the youngest child so most of his nieces and nephews were in his age range and are gone. Irene Ryan, Granny on the Beverly Hill Billys was married to my Uncle Tim Ryan. I think we are researching the same family. I don’t have much but I think we meet at Hannah’s father’s generation. Hugh had twins Anna and Michael born in Newark, New Jersey on May 19, 1867. I think Hugh was brother/cousin of my Catherine McGeehan. Also, my mother-in-law remembers her father’s cousin, John McGeehan, saying that Irene Ryan was a relative. I don’t have a lot more, going backward. Maybe we can add to each other’s information.
