I am also looking for an Orsborn in Owensboro, Ky. This would have been my great-grandfather. He was the father of my grandmother, Bertha Frances Orsborn McKelvey, Iowa Park, Texas. She was born in 1886? and died in 1953. I have searched and been very successful for my father's (Melvin L. McKelvey) entire family, but I cannot seem to find Bertha Orsborn 'Orsburn's father's birth year. I know his name was J. W. Orsburn and he was born in Owensboro, Ky. Her first born child was a boy and she named him Jesse. She worshipped her father, so I assume the 'J' in J. W. was probably Jesse, but why I can't find his DOB is a real puzzle.

Anyone out there that can help?

Thank you,
jb mckelvey holland
