I am searching for my family tree members. the last name of Roher-Rohr ( it is spelled both ways on marriage and death records. I lost them in Hagerstown Maryland.
John H. Roher born 10-18-1852 married Mary Elizabeth Munson, the had several children
Albert Joshia born 5-9-1876 in Hagerstown
Leatha A. born 4-1-1887
****Albert being my fathers grandfather- my father stated he remembers hearing of twins but no one knows where they went ( not a close family) I have no other info on John and Mary, no deaths nothing. but Albert moved to Illinois and married Jessie Ellen Lindsey there and then they moved to Michigan where Albert was a minister , they are buried there.
Also Leatha went to Michigan and married Mark Alwood and they are both buried in the Muskegon Michigan area. if anyone has any more info please email me. thanks

I think I have the answer to your puzzle. I am researching my maternal grandfather's family by the name Roher. I have an obituary about Francis Roher who was my ggrandfather's brother. In it there is mention that Francis is the son of John and Mary Munson Roher. It also says that he is survived by a brother, Clarence Roher, and a sister, Flora Williams of IL. In the 1880 Census, there are twins listed as Flora and Nora. In the 1900 Census, it shows that they had 9 children with 8 living. I do so hope this is what you are looking for. If it is, I can give you more details.

I am looking for Ernest Francis Rohr. He was married to my great grandmother's sister. Does the obituary you have mention a wife and a birth place for Ernest?

I'm sorry but the article states "Francis A. Roher". I don't think his middle name was Ernest. Francis was from Niantic, IL.
