Still looking for information on Edward Willsey born in April 23,1878in charlestownship,Pa. married Nina Pheobe Bellinger born 12/12/1879 date of marriage 7/5/1898 by Rev AWynkoop in Covington Pa there children Were Basil,Wiber,Leo,Luva Arline,Harold,and madalyn. I think Edward parents were Andrew Willsey and Mary Trumble. they could of addopted him thats my problem cannot go anywhere from there Help

I found this in the Elmira, Chemung Co., NY library and there was no indication it was an adoption.

I live in Waverly, winter in Fl. My Wilsey is Jacob (wife's tombstone says Willsey) of Wyoming Co., PA. There is a Judson also in the family but cannot connect with the Chemung Co. ones.

Leah, I think you have find the enigma that Bob Knotts was looking for many years! The document indicates that I am indeed still in the same lineage with William & Catherine Landon, but its just that William's middle name isn't "Henry" as far as we know! I can see the confusion considering that him and William Henry both married to someone named "Catherine". The break through is the fact that my William's unknown daughter's name is indeed "Sylvia" which is Bob's brickwall Great Great Grandmother! I can't wait to read Bob's re-action when he reads that document!
