Can't help you with where-abouts, but can confirm that R. Livingston owned 80 acres in the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of section 25, Columbus Twp. in 1897 and 1876.

Mary Livingston is the wife of my great grand uncle: Rufus Snyder from Columbus St Clair. Willard F. Snyder, the brother of Rufus, was my Great grandfather. I am looking for any information connecting Willard and Rufus to their father Peter Snyder (1818-1899) and their mother Malissa (Melissa)Janette (Jennette) Babcock-Snyder. Peter's father born @1780 (best guess) was David Snyder so any information connecting Peter to David would be appreciated - thanks!

Cheryl

I have some material on this -- when I have a moment (or 30) I'll scrounge through my stuff. Email me at krodegeb@earthlink.net

Louisa (Maxon or Maxson) Livingston is my great-great maternal grandmother, and in reply to an earlier post, yes she is a Conat (Conant) descendent.

BIOGRAPHY:

* Taken from Port Huron Daily Times 3/8/1883
(St. Clair Republican)
A somewhat remarkable party of Columbus Township people were in St. Clair on
Tuesday, last being five members of a family each representing a generation.
The oldest member of the party was Mrs. Conant, 81 years of age, a well
preserved and active lady. The others as daughter and mother were Mrs. Abram
Maxon, Mrs Robert Livingston, Mrs Rufus Snyder and little Miss Snyder, six years
of age, the great-great-great-grand daughter of the family. The entire party are
now living within a half mile of each other in Columbus.

infancy, three others married and live in Ontario. The others came to Michigan;
two daughters dying here quite recently. Mr. Conat died in April, 1879, age 77 years;
Mrs Conat has since lived with her children and grand children,enjoying good health.
Her descendents are 130 grand children, 25 or 30 great-grand-children and four

No. I got the info from a Terry Robbins whose line is either Snyder or Livingston. I have since found Louisa Conat/Maxson-Livingston living with daughter in 1920 census so I doubt she remarried.
