Nerry Boyer, MO and IL, 1800s

Nerry Boyer, MO and IL, 1800s

I am trying to confirm that Nerry Boyer, who was married to Celestine Godier (sp?) probably in Illinois about 1872, was the son of Baptiste Boyer and Mathilda Carron of Washington County, MO.

In the 1850 census Baptiste and Matilda Boyer had a 4 month old son, Nary and they were living in St. Francois County, MO.
In the 1860 census they were living in Ste. Genevieve, with Nerré, age 11.
In 1880 I found Nerry, age 28, and Celestine Boyer in Prairie du Rocher, IL with 3 children, Nerry, Willie and Johnny. Nerry claimed to have been born in Missouri.

Can anyone confirm who his parents were or when and where he married Celestine?

Thanks for any help.
Bridget

Per the liturgical registers from the Catholic Diocese of Belleville, Prairie du Rocher, St. Joseph Church (microfilmed)in the marrige record dated 5 November 1872 (no page number visible), the parents of Lenerius or Henerius Boyer were "Joanni B. Boyer and Matile Caron". The record is in Latin and the names were "latinized". The brides name is written as Celestina Gauder.

Thank you! This is great information to have. Does the marriage record include Celestina Gauder's parent's names?
