I am looking for any connections to my ancestor John Beard who is said to have been born in Londonderry about 1745. He married someone named Martha in 1767 in Ireland. I believe that he emmigrated to the United States some time after that on the Lord Dunluce, which would have departed from Larne. He had two young sons with him, one was Patrick Beard.

(on that website and many records it shows my ggg grandfather Woodward as having been born in 1813 but I've got records from a family bible that says he was born in 1812.)
