Would anyone know parents or sibblings names of the Ignatz Ollinger (b. 1874) who migrated from Andrasfalva to Canada in 1907 with his wife, Kathaleen Balog (b. 1875)? My resources are leading me to believe he was the son of Ignatz Ollinger (b. 1830) and Julianna Getzo (b. 1838), but I don't have evidence.

I'm showing Ignatz (b. 1874) as the only child of Ignatz (b. 1830) and Julianna. Please advise if there were others.

I am a decendent of Adam Ollinger (b. 1860ish) who is the brother to Ignatz (b. 1830) and there was only one other sibbling--a sister named Anna (she.married Janos Daradics). If anyone has information on Adam and his wife Rosalia Appel's children, please share w/me. I'm showing that Adam & Rosalia had only one child--Ambros (b. 1890).

Ignatz, Anna and Adam were the children of Jacob Ollinger (b. 1801) and Anna Falkauer--Jacob's 1st wife. Does anyone have information on the history of Jacob (b. 1801)?

His father, Ignatz (b. 1830), who married Juliana Getzo had 2 known sibblings--Adam and Anna. (Adam is my great grandfather.) My records agree with yours as to there being only two siblings of the 1830 Ignatz (that is, Anna and Adam).

His son (the 1874 Ignatz) did have five siblings, but one died in infancy, and for two, I have no information other than their birth dates.

The sibling who would be of most interest to you is Balbina, born January 27, 1880. Balbina was married twice, first in Bukovina to Szilveszter Palko, and then in Canada to Jozsef Kelemen. She has numerous descendants, most of them living in Saskatchewan.

By the way, I am living in Budapest, Hungary now (but currently in the U.S. on a family visit). September 11-23, I will be leading a trip to Tolna County, Hungary and Bukovina for Canadian and American descendants of the Bukovina Hungarians.

Would you please contact me on the ease (or lack thereof) of physically accessing family records at Aparhant and if photocopying can be done or not. I've located a relative in Zavod (incredibly close!) and w/like to ask her for help in looking up a host of family ancestors whose documentation is recorded there.
