I am looking for any information on brothers who left germany in the late 1800's. The brothers were named Carl/Charles, August and Benedict. One settled in France, the other in UK and the other to the USA. Thats the little info i have.

I am not sure if this is the same ortlieb family, But I have a Carl/Charles Ortlieb back in my family. And he had a sone named August, which makes me think this may be him. I know his mother's name was Mary and they both came over together in 1895. If you think this may be him just let me know. Thanks

I have a Carl/Charles on my tree. He married my great aunt Molvina Haak here in NY circa 1901. He had a son named August. He immigrated here I believe from Latvia and lived in Manheim NY with mother Mary. If this sounds like your family and we can share info, please feel free to contact me at country_mom02@yahoo.com.
