Can anyone tell me anything about the Lord Byron Inn, Mansfield, Nottingham, England?
I have some pictures and I have found it on the census records from 1891-1911 but I'm after a little history about the pub itself or any of the inn keepers.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
The Lord Byron was on the junction of Quarry Lane and Sheepbridge Lane in Mansfield. It was demolished in 2007 unfortunately. If you follow the link I have sent you can see a photograph of the pub in the 1940's. This wasn't how I remember it looking though when I was growing up in the 1980's, it wasn't as pretty. :) Will continue looking for a more recent photo for you though.
Best Wishes
