This is a book of topics about Columbus County and its families, written by people in or from Columbus. Your Hunt seems not to be included. Those included are: Brantley, Sr and Jr, Dona Michelle, Govenor Jim. Gracie Neal, Jordan, Ida L. Phipps, Irene, JC, Jr & Sr, Joyce Joantha Jordan, Keith, Kenny, Lacy Lee, Lisa Ann, Lois Irene Tedder, Bullock, Preacher George, Randy Rev, Robbie.
We are toying with the idea of producing a second volume. Maybe you would like to write an article (or several) on your family connections with Columbus? John

Copies of the Columbus County Heritage Book can be found in all Columbus County Library Branches and Centers for Aging (for reading at those places).
Copies are available for purchase for $65.00. Alice Soles, Librarian in Whiteville, has copies for pickup, but call her first - 910-640-1233. She prefers checks. Pat Fipps, Clarendon, has copies. Jean Williamson, Lake Waccamaw, has copies. Copies may be ordered for $65 + 7.50 for mailing. I usually mail via Priority Mail which costs more than $7.50, but I like the quick response thereof.
