I will be going over that way in a few weeks for a reunion. However, time is limited. Therefore, wondering what information, books, etc, that the historical/genealogical society has that may be unique to that location and may not be at another library or the Wisconsin State Historical Society.

They have a couple of unique items that can be purchased [Indexed Copy of 1878 Plat Map of Vernon County; Marriage index for Vernon County 1850-1914; etc.] thatI have found to be helpful.

There is a lot there. There are obituaries indexed by last name that have been cut out of local papers. There is also a lot of items donated from families. Also a lot of the Vernon County Cemeteries have been transcribed down (What is on the stones and what cemeteries and where to find cemeteries)
