Martha Williams may have been an Indian from Georgia, and am not sure of parents name. I am doing history, and she may have been the daughter of an Indian chief. They may have lived in Grant parish in 1800's.

I believe Martha to be the sister of my great-grandfather
Charles "Cap" Williams. There is some speculation that
perhaps there is some Native American blood but it would
most likely be in the maternal line. Martha and Cap's father
was William R. Williams born in Virginia. Hope this helps!

I just found some messages about my great-grandparents, and am so excited about finding the messages. I thank the people that sent me the information, and I hope to hear more from the people. I have been sick for the last two years, and
do answer my phone, and give my name if anyone has called me. I am hearing impaired, and use my e-mail address to reach people.

Sincerely,

I have not been able to find where William R. Williams, and
some of his family is buried. I am still looking to find
where Martha and R. Hebert are buried, and some of their
children. The Indian tribe is another problem, and I am
still looking for the information. R. Hebert has five Francois's in the family line, and I saw that in a family Bible when I was younger. I am hoping that there are some
family Bibles that have a lot of information that I need. R. Hebert's father was Joseph. I hope that I can hear from
someone with more information that I can use. Rapides and Evang. parish play a good part in the history of the Hebert
family.

Have you been able to find out any more information
on the couple, and where they could be buried. I am
trying to find where all their children are buried, and
have not been able to find any trace of them. A lot of
the cemeteries that I need are not on the internet, and
I have not been able to make a trip to Grant parish.

Sincerely,
