Town of Cronenburch?

I am looking for a town or area called Cronenburch that existed around 1450. I have no access to old maps of HOlland.

The ancestor I am looking for id Beerte Jan VanCronenburch. I believe at that time surnames were simply where the individual lived.

Any help would be appreciated. The area might be in Freisland

Jan van Cronenburch tells us that he came from Cronenburch. Modern spelling is "van Kronenburg" or "van Cronenburg". It is also possible with 2 o's instead of 1.
Site http://www.meertens.knaw.nl/nfb/ has explanations about dutch familynames.
Cronenburch was a castle. According to http://igitur-archive.library.uu.nl/sabine/2011-1004-200800/... it is the name of a castle between Loenen and Nieuwersluis on the river Vecht in the province Utrecht.
