Born July 10,1605, Immigrated to USA..New Amsterdam, New York. Married Elsje Pieters born 1616, who was born in the US. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

was born about 1646

2nd: in 15 May 1652 at the Reformed Dutch Church, New Amsterdam to Grietje Jan Van Groeningen Blauw
She was born in Groningen, Netherland

They had the following children:
Elsje Jan Van Husum
baptized 13 July 1653

Saartje Jan Van Husum
born December 1662 (she married Jan Perre (Perry))

3rd: about November 1663 to Elsje Jansen
No children in this marriage.

Jan lived in the following places

First Residence - Winschoten, Groningen, Netherland.
Second Residence - Amsterdam.
Third Residence - Gowanus, New Netherland.

Emigration - Emigrant about 1637 from Amsterdam to Gowanus Kill, New Netherland.
(Gowanus Bay was the site of the first settlement (1636) by Dutch farmers in what is now Brooklyn)

I have also found a baptism record for Annetje from the 1st marriage with the date of 28 JAN 1646. It also list Jan Pieterszan van Hutzen Staats as "Jan Pieterszen van Husen"
